CAMERA-BASED READING OF VEHICLE NUMBERS
- direct optical scanning of the vehicle with a high-speed camera
- algorithmic analysis of the UIC numbers on the wagon case using OCR technology
- computerised evaluation on the spot
- operable at train speeds from 30 up to 210 km/h
- may be used as a part of the diagnostic checkpoints on the track
USED TO IDENTIFY RAILWAY VEHICLES
- device delivers a list of wagon numbers upon train passing over the diagnostic checkpoint
- identifying each vehicle including their sequence in the train
- automatic independent identity verification of the passing railway vehicles
- option to compare with the list (Train Composition) in the systems of the infrastructure manager
- allows assigning e.g., vehicles inspected on the ASDEK WTMS device (hot box, flat wheels, dynamic weighing)
- targeted verification of the data specified by the railway operator
- important system to verify the vehicles
